Wood River Drainage and Levee District’s mission is to ensure the integrity of the levee system throughout the year. During times of emergency, we respond with trained personnel and the necessary equipment to provide protection of lives and property.

Southwestern Illinois Flood Prevention District Council – Is a joint venture, formed in July 2009, between Madison, Monroe and St. Clair counties to oversee the improvement of the 74-mile Metro East levee system.
